Polimax Silver polyester putty’s thixotropic constitution contains special aluminium pigments. It is an unsaturated polyester resin based putty with high filling power, whose soft consistency allows application with ease, and leaves a smooth surface without forming pinholes. If the aluminium effect is desired, it is advised to leave the surface unsanded. Polimax Silver putty is used to correct mistakes in parts in the casting industry, to create the aluminium effect or if solder is required, to fill in the cracks and holes on a radiator, and to fix faults on cylinder blocks. Its advanced formula gives it perfect adhesion to metal and galvanized surfaces. The putty being suitable for wet and dry sanding allows its user maximum comfort during application. It leaves a non-sticky surface without causing and shrinkage during curing.
